The testing may encompass a suite of pollutants from isokinetic particulate sampling through to specialised areas of testing for dioxins, metal fumes, volatile organic compounds, acid halides and combustion gases. Other highly specific determinations for formaldehyde, ammonia, amino acid proteins and isocyanate aerosols are routinely undertaken. |

By using the latest generation of field analysers, we accurately measure the products of combustion and volatile organic compounds from such processes as incineration, power generation and the mineral, foundry, chemical and manufacturing industries.EMCo Air Quality have taken part in industrial process trials that have included commissioning trials, assessment and efficiency testing of process abatement and evaluating releases from novel chemical production units. The provision of these data aid our clients decision making and provide key information for abatement optimisation and design, and environmental assessment through dispersion modelling and ultimate stack height determination.
In addition, EMCo Air Quality Occupational Monitoring teams undertake the full range of workplace air monitoring and measurement of substances controlled under the Health and Safety at Work Act. General and specific surveys of indoor air quality, targeting key compounds and practises that may pose a risk to personnel. Our experienced occupational monitoring engineers are able to offer advice and guidance to design a cost-effective package of monitoring and education to give peace of mind to your employees.
As a company with a long history of environmental monitoring, EMCo are able to offer technical support and assistance with the preparation of IPPC and EPA applications and authorisations. Our technical services provide air quality impact assessments, boundary monitoring, atmospheric dispersion modelling, stack height calculations and liaison on your behalf with regulatory bodies.
